I was born in Turin September 1969, the first contact with a radio was done in 1979 when I connect an old tube vacum radio (Minerva) with an external wire.The first signal listen was a unknow morse message at 357KHz. Many year later I recognize this signal how the Torino Caselle Airport NDB beacon CAS.

That was the trigger, in 80 I worked on citizen band than Ham radio IW1CMF upgraded to IK1ZQJ. The personal curiosity take me to play with electronics and radio repair. This play early became my job specially in microwave.

Today I'm an electronics engineer and I design gps receiver, bluetooth modules, digital receivers in automotive sector.

My second hobbies, the fligt with glider, allow me to play with APRS tecnology and now with satellite tecnology like Iridium, Globalstar.

A special teacher in the satellites activity is Ferruccio Paglia IW1DTU that introduce me on the satellite world.
