The above image was photographed during a sunset in September 1999, about one
mile East of Overbrook, Kansas along the North side of U.S. Highway 56 in Osage
County. Several acres of sunflowers were planted to remind passing motorists
and others, that the Santa Fe Trail crossed nearby.
