The picture on the QRZ database is from the Dayton Hamvention,
lunch time of course. I had a great time and was so overwhelmed
by the flea market, vendors, and manufacturers that we only saw
about 1/4 of the flea market stuff.
I was liscened on June 13, 1997 as a no-code technician and I
have now upgraded to General. The primary bands that I operate
on are 2m ssb, 2m fm, 10m ssb, and 75m ssb. I operate all bands
at my QTH and also mobil. I especially enjoy 2m ssb, as I have
an amplifier and a headache mounted squallo for this band.
We congregate on 144.240 2m ssb around the Pearland area. Come
on the air and join us.
