The Indiana University Amateur Radio Club is made up of a dedicated group of
IU students, faculty, staff, and alumni, who are active in virtually every
aspect of the hobby. Our shack is located in the Indiana Memorial Union student
activites tower, and our club station includes equimpent for HF and VHF
operation, as well as our antenna farm, located on top of the Union building.
We also own and operate a repeater on 146.940 mHz (negative offset, PL 136.5);
anyone visiting or passing through the Bloomington area is invited to use it.
The club is very active in community service, often providing communication for
local, state, and University events. Club meetings are held on the third Sunday
of every month at 7 PM in the Indiana Memorial Union, and we try to hold a club
net once per month on the K9IU repeater. Once again, we invite all who may be
interested to join us. If you woule like more information about our club or its
activities, please stop by our web page or drop us a e-mail. Thanks and 73!
