I got my license as a student at Hesston College in 1995. Bob, W0BH; who was an instructor for computer science at the time just happened to be teaching an 8 week course on ham radio. I had been an avid SWL from the age of 13. I have not turned back and love the hobby!

I have maintained the Newton Amateur Radio Club web site since 1997 which in turn has led to my becoming a partner in an international web design and programming company in 2004.
