Biography Info:

Started out in amateur radio in 1962 as WN5BAD in New Orleans, but entered the Navy that summer and never upgraded. The ticket lapsed after one year - as they did then - and I didn't get back on the air until May of 1998, at the age of 53. Finally upgraded to General in June '98 - 36 years late! Advanced, then Extra in 2005. Other interests - sailing, scuba, astronomy, shooting.
