i like radios that glow in the dark,charley whiskey and reading about the GOLDEN AGE. Some times I get to talk to some real OLD TIMERS but they are fadeing fast like the CW that I hope will always be with us. I got my ticket back in 1986 and rapidly rose to EXTRA. I should have taken up the hobby long before that but have seen a lot in my time "short" though it may be. I have been helpfull both on vhf and hf(which is far more intresting to me) bands, I have mostly just had a lot of fun along with meeting some of AMERICA'S finest people. I am disturbed a little by some of the chatter on the phone bands but never met anyone that I did not like on C W. I hear that several other modes of operation are much better than ssb voice but except for a little AM;I am not that familiar with them.I like old cars,steam locomotive,prop.driven aircraft from days gone by and the WORLD WIDE WEB for finding pictures of them. I am no better looking than I was in the picture for I too am getting older. hpt cu agn 73...Ronny
