Greetings from South Dakota!
I work the airwaves from a small town in eastern South Dakota. I work anywhere
160m to 70cm including the digital modes. I enjoy working the many different
modes amateur radio has to offer.
The shack rigs include:
A Yaesu FT-847, a Yaesu FT-817, A Kenwood TS-520, and a Hallicrafters SR-150. I
use a Yaesu FT-857 when mobile. I have various VHF/UHF mobile rigs and
handhelds as well.
Antennas include:
A Double bazooka for 80 meters, an Alpha Dleta DX-LB Plus for 160 meters
through 10 meters, a Mosley TA-33 tribander, and a Butternut HF2V 40/80 meter
vertical. The main antenna support is a Rohn HDBX 40 freestanding tower.
A Dentron MLA-2500 is used as needed from time to time as the conditions
warrent. The shack is in a constant state of work and improvement. About the
time one project is complete I start the next one.
I try to QSL 100 percent, if you have sent me one and did not receive one back,
please remind me. Having small children around, nice looking QSL cards are
often tempting to collect for their own interests, therefore they can
disappear.
My YL Susan KC0PSR is also active on the airwaves as well and we spend some
very good times together with the radios. I look forward to hearing you on the
air soon.
73, and Happy DX!!
