I serve as the Pastor to the Minetto Community United Methodist Church near Oswego (east end of Lake Ontario north of Syracuse New York My other interests include SWL,kayaking and canoeing,birds and wildlife. I am a volunteer and one time career Firefighter/EMT. Currently i serve as Chaplain to the Minetto Fire Dept.I am trained and certified in CISM.

I operate on 2m/70cm and on HF digital and SSB,with a DM-710 mobile and fixed with TS-2000,and a FT-1000MP MARK V (w/ a Quadra tuner and amp). My antenna farm includes a Carolina Windom 80, a 2m/70cm Diamond vertical.The Vertical is mounted on an AB577 military surplus tower at 48 feet agl. For digital modes I use a SCS PTC IIex or a Navigator US Interface. I also mantain a weather Vantage Pro-2 Wx station that is streamed on the internet under KC2RCU or KNYMINET2 (Wx Underground. I am also active in Mobile APRS, and public safety scanning. Look for me on 20m PSK31 almost any evening or weekend.
