PCs and RF - it's a natural marriage made in heaven. A lot of my current effort
is spent hosting and maintaining our club's web site. We recently purchased a
TV broadcast tower site. Lots of new things happening!
I firmly believe that ham radio should be enjoyed. That's the only 'should'
that applies. Anything else is a burden and takes the enjoyment away from
others.
I work as a Network Technician for an outsourced IT/system administration
service. Many clients, many different tasks.
My OS of choice is Linux - specifically Fedora and CentOS.
Living in Central Wyoming, winter preparedness and wilderness survival is
normal activity. Ham radio support both of these quite nicely.
