Hello and thank you for taking the time to look up and verify my call sign.
There have been many things going on, more personal, that have really tied up
my time to do the things that I would like to do, but I hope I can get through
them now.
I'm always trying to be relatively active member of the amateur radio
community, APRS, just going to start SSTV now, BSARC, ARRL, ARES, SKYWARN, is
there something I missed? I think emergency preparedness is vital to being on
the next step. In addition, I have battery back up to stand me up when need. I
run an IC-207H from home, which runs primarily off a DT-3N car battery, which
is in turn, trickle charged when needed, and that runs off my 1500va UPS for
the computer. This radio I have had since my second year of amateur radio, when
I installed in my first truck. My first radio was an Icom T-22A. The 207 then
runs through RG-8 to a UVS-200 antenna, mounted on the deck on the second floor
out back. Being in a rental, I cannot do much for, antenna mounting, so I am
stuck with what I got, I will post a picture of it. It gets 6db vhf and 8-9 db
roughly on uhf, with 50/35w vhf/uhf radio output.
With a timely and helpful tax return in 2004, I got an IC-W32A, and an
IC-2720H. Both work wonderful and I could not be happier using them.
I use the 2720 in my van, to which I use to cross band repeat to me while I
work inside a big building, mainly during the summer, so I can hear SKYWARN and
let my management know the current conditions. To assist and help the 100's of
people shopping in our store, since the handheld really cannot get a good
signal in all that brick and metal. I use my w32A to receive and transmit to my
2720 primarily, but use it as my sidekick.
Therefore, I am also big into computers, photography, and things of technical
ability. I have made my two own computers, I have fixed multiple computers,
including my own, family and friends. I try to stay on top of the current news
and headlines revolving around them, as it could/will shape our future of
technology, so I like to stay in the know about them things.
I will post some pictures up on here from time to time. Right now, they are not
ready for small internet post, I have to down sample a bit, so give me a few,
and I will have up on here. Hear me around; give me a shout, thanks for your
time, TTYL.

URL address and complications in understanding the call sign when I wasn't
writing it, and my writing etc, here is a link to my weather site:
