I was first licensed as K6IXV in La Jolla, California in 1957. I attended the
University of New Mexico on a Navy scholarship and flew as a Navy Pilot
1965-1972. In 1972 I was hired as a pilot by Western Airlines. Based in Denver,
Colorado I had my call changed to W0PBZ. I moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico in
1984 and received the call KJ5CB. Western merged with Delta in 1987. I moved to
my present location on Marco Island, Florida in 1994. I am presently flying the
european routes out of JFK (New York).
My hobbies include...diving (PADI Divemaster), sailing (Own and Captain 35'
Catamaran), fishing, photography/video, guitar playing. I will retire in June
of 2003 and will have a lot more time to direct to Hamming, Sailing, etc.
Presently my job is interfering with my life style!
