I am mainly active on top band, 6m and 2m.
For 2m I have a vertical antenna and 4 element horizontal beam, both of which
are mounted on the same hill 100ft above the shack (600ft ASL) and fed with
120m of W103 coax. At the base of the 2m antenna is a linear amplifier and
pre-amp which compensates for the loss in the co-ax feeder. This setup gives
125W at the antenna. The amp is powered by a battery and remotely charged.
Please QSL direct or via the bureau (if you don't mind waiting years for your
qsl card).
I am the repeater keeper for GB3LG, which is currently off air while we move it
to a new site at Blarbuie in Lochgilphead, and I am the Secretary of the Mid
Argyll Amateur Radio Society, see:-

I can also supply Repeater Logic parts and kits using the HOZ logic design, see
