I'm a mid 50's computer "jock" who waited until late in life to
realize a 30-some year old dream of becoming a ham. I don't know why I waited
so long! I've really enjoyed my time on the air since getting my general (in
2003), and am working on the Extra, which I should have before the end of the
year. Hope to meet you on the airwaves. 73 - N4JAH Update - October 2003 -
Passed Element 4 !!!! Now if I can only get a better antenna up in the air.
The picture is from Field Day 2003. That's me working the log, with the help of
an unidentified YL on the mic.
N4JAH Update - August 2005 - 'Hobby Turns Into Job!' I just learned that I will
be moving away from the computer end of things in October of this year (2005).
I'll be taking over the company's extensive (state wide) Motorola radio system.
My first major project will be to implement Radio Over IP!
