Hello This a little about me.My name is Sonny I have been a ham since 4/7/92.
I have recently upgaded to Amateur Extra on 09/30/06 at the TEN TEC Hamfest in
Sevierville, TN. I am a net control on the Alabama Traffic Net Mike on 3.965 on
Wednesday nights. Like to operate vhf ssb on 6 meters a nd 2 meters. I like to
contest. Myself and two of my good friends(KS4B,N4ION) get to gather and run
(N4DXY) Heart of Dixie Contest Club when there is a contest going on on vhf and
uhf and also some of the HF contests to.I am a member of Bankhead A.R.C. here
in Moulton Al. We a re a pretty active club we setup a station(N4IDX)for field
day every year. I also run HF. I also have a weather station on the air
(N4JDB-1) Go to Google search engine and enter the search for Ham Weather
Stations. It will be the first or second listing that comes up click on it.
this will take you to a map with different colored dots on it the red ones are
ham weather stations.
Would like to let every one now that my Nickname is " Sonny" . I use
it the biggest part of the time on the air.
