First licensed in May of 1985 I was not very active until we moved to a new
house with more room for antennas. Upgraded to general class in April of 1986
after many QSO'S on 80 & 40 meter cw to get my code speed up to 13wpm. Then the
DX bug bit and I needed a tower with a triband beam. The tower went up in 1987
and the DX chase began. As of 1998 I had 315 countries confirmed. Interest in
Ham Radio delined for a few years, but now I have moved to a new QTH and the
interest is building again. So maybe before to awlful long I will get another
