Montana Native, transplanted in Oregon in 1986.

Born and raised on the Montana prairie in the 40s and 50s where it was real quiet. Home life was simple and memorable with no running water, no electricity and listening to Joe Louis fights with my Dad on a six volt battery radio.

Meals were cooked on an old Monarch wood cooking stove. The biffy was outside about a hundred feet away. Try making that dash at 40 below zero!

First licensed in 1984 as KA7TZO in Great Falls, Montana. Member of the Oregon ARES traffic net (OARES) 3993.5 at 5:30PM, Beaver State Net (BSN) 3920 KHz at 5:45 PM. And also a member of the Oregon Emergency Net (OEN) on 3980 KHz at 6PM, all Pacific time. Also, on the Noon Time Net now and then at 7268.5 KHz.
