A sunset on Lake Erie. I enjoy mixing the hobbies of Amateur Radio and Boating.
My entire family are ham radio operators, my wife Barb (KB8DDE), and my two
daughters Cherise (KB8ISY) and Melissa (KC8HRL). I belong to Chagrin Lagoons
Yacht Club in Eastlake, Ohio where this picture was taken. We started various
Amateur classes and now have over 70 operators in our club (Chagrin Lagoons
Amateur Radio Association) Our web site is located at www.qsl.net/n8kt. We also
have our own 70cm repeater on 443.700 (pl 131.8).
I also enjoy hunting and try to do all I can during the fall in Pennsylvania
where my brother and I (Mike - KB8PLJ) have a cabin. I have a 2 meter rig there
and can stay in touch with my xyl while I'm away.
I have been a ham for about 18 years and enjoy all modes of operation. I spend
time on CW and SSB mostly, but do operate some RTTY also. I am active on all
bands except 160m.
