Hope to see you in the Kurt 'N Sturba Strange Antenna Challenge during the Memorial Day weekends. This has become my challenge to Field Day - use what you would find lying around after a disaster strikes. It's fun and interesting to see what strange and unusual things can be used as an antenna. In 2006, we worked into Europe and all over the USA by loading up the University of Kentucky Football Stadium. We got a better match and results loading 2 scrap metal tractor trailer trailers as a dipole - We worked Guatemala on the first call - barefoot - then, later, Hungary called us!
