I received my first US General class license in November 2005 as KI4MAW. The VE team of Andrea AI4CA/IK1PMR, Claudia K2LEO, and Vinicio N7CIO very professionally organized the FCC test in Italy. I upgraded to Extra class in May 2006 and I am now AI4PP as well as a ARRL VE. My ham interest is in HF DXing but I am also active on VHF and UHF (simplex and local repeaters). I graduated as an Aviation Electronics Technician but now work as an Information Systems professional. My Main QTH is in the mountain village of Hortiatis near the City of Thessaloniki, Greece. I also operate as Maritime Mobile while on my boat. I am a member of the ARRL, the Radio Amateur Association of Greece. My other interests include sailing, mountaineering and caving.
