I received my first US General class license in November 2005 as KI4MAW. The VE
team of Andrea AI4CA/IK1PMR, Claudia K2LEO, and Vinicio N7CIO very
professionally organized the FCC test in Italy. I upgraded to Extra class in
May 2006 and I am now AI4PP as well as a ARRL VE. My ham interest is in HF
DXing but I am also active on VHF and UHF (simplex and local repeaters). I
graduated as an Aviation Electronics Technician but now work as an Information
Systems professional. My Main QTH is in the mountain village of Hortiatis near
the City of Thessaloniki, Greece. I also operate as Maritime Mobile while on my
boat. I am a member of the ARRL, the Radio Amateur Association of Greece, and
my local club, the Radio Amateur Union of Northern Greece. My other interests
include sailing, mountaineering and caving. Hope to meet you on the bands! 73,
