- 45 YEARS OF AMATEURS RADIO ACTIVITY -

I started my amateur radio activites in 1956 at the club radio station YU1BKL in Belgrade. Later, we moved to Istanbul where I was one of the founders of TRAC, the Turkish Amateur Radio Society in 1962. I've been using the callsign TA2BK in Turkey for many years and reached DXCC HONOR ROLL. Since 1969 I have also been licensed as DJ0UJ in Munich and reached DXCC #1 HONOR ROLL with this call. In 1970 and 1971 I took part in the ZA2RPS DX-pedition and later on enjoyed 4U1ITU several times as guest operator. Through many QSO's, DX-ing and Contests I am still enjoying this wonderful hobby with the same interest and dedication as at the beginning 45 years ago and hope to continue the same in the future. I appreciate the guidance and encouragement of all of you, dear fellow radio amateurs, all over the world - hello and hope to see you again on the air....
