Biography Info:

I have been licensed since June, 1972(WN4AUX). I replaced the WN with a WA the
next year when I upgraded to General. In the days before instant upgrades, I had
to wait 2 months before I could operate as WA4AUX. About this time, I got out
of college and went to work. Worked so much overtime I had no time to take the
Advanced. The FCC started going to Birminghamfest in 1976, where I got the
Advanced, and the Extra the next year. I got into VHF not long after, and
worked 50 states and 20 countries before going back to school. After that stint
in school, I wen to work for U.S. Army at Redstone Arsenal, AL and stayed there
as a civil servant for 2 1/2 years. Got caught up in the quota system and left
to work ofr a government contractor. This came to an end 10 years later when
quotas kicked in. After another contract at NASA MSFC, I left to go back to
private industry. I am a reliability technician at ADTRAN in Huntsville, AL
where I ensure that only the best products go to our customers.Due to busy work
schedule, romantic relations, and lack of interest, I am not as active as I
once was. Seems as though people don't respect our hobby and our country like
they used to.Politically conservative. Member of the Church of Christ since
1997. Looking forward to retirement one of these days.Trying to stay physically
active and be around a few more years.
