I am active in ARES here in the Allen Parish as the EC. I am disable Navy
Veteran, was in the Military from Jan 1979 to Oct 1987. My Radio equipment
consist of a Kenwood TS-130 with a GR5V antenna about 35 ft inverted, and for
VHF / UHF, with a TM-D710 operating APRS on a Diamond 200a antenna mounted on
top of one of my towers about 45 ft up. I also have a repeater that will be in
place in the near future, VHF in Kinder, La. Check the website for more
