First licensed as a novice, KN5CCX, in 1955 in Goliad, Texas. I got busy in
high school, then college, marriage, six children etc. Now, after many years, I
am back on the air with a vanity call sign that once belonged to my uncle who
was also my Elmer. I am retired and living in Spring Branch, about 30 miles
north of San Antonio.
I am an active member of FISTS, number 11347, CC number 1809. Also, a member of
SKCC, number 654T.
99 per cent CW operator with occassional SSB QSOs. Active on 6 thru 80 meters
with a variety of antennas.
I really enjoy receiving and sending QSL cards, no SASE required. You may QSL
me directly, through FISTS or ARRL bureaus.
Sorry I am not a member of E-QSL nor LoTW, paper cards only.
If we have recently had a QSO, thanks.
