Denton County Amateur Radio Club, Inc., also known as the Denton County Amateur
Radio Association. This Club was formed in 1974. Meetings are held the 4th
Monday of each month except December, 7pm at the Denton County Emergency
Operations Center. Everyone is welcome. See the DCARA website (www.dcara.net)
for additional information and meeting location.
The DCARA hosts six repeaters in the VHF, UHF, & 33 cm bands and a new D-Star
repeater system. In addition, DCARA maintains several packet digipeaters and
APRS digipeaters.
The mobile communications trailer, officially known as "eComm701",
has a full complement of HF, VHF, UHF, packet, APRS, Public Service and
emergency power equipment.
