Biography Info:

Licensed continuously since 1962, I went the 1x2 route in 2002 to commemorate
my 40th year. I am active with the United Radio Amateur Club based out of the
Los Angeles Maritime Museum in San Pedro, California. I am currently President
and Trustee of the club's call, K6AA, and a five term past President. I enjoy
chasing DX and am active on 80 through 2 meters. I operate the lower bands with
an FT-1000MP at 100 watts or less into a 88' and 44' tuned feeder fed doublet
or an HX-5Bi Hex-Beam at 30 feet. Back up station is an IC-718 into a tuned
feeder fed doublet.
