I was first licensed as KN0AZB in the spring of 1960 as a ninth grader, I grew
up in Excelsior, MN

My hobby is collecting and restoring classic tube shortwave receivers from the
50's and '60's. The current shack consists of an Icom 756PROIII, Yaesu
FT-900CAT, Icom 706MKIIG, Alpha 87A OMEGA, Alpha 78,and a home brew 1KW Six
Meter linear. Antenna system is a 12 element Tennedyne Log Periodic Array and a
modified 5 element long boom Cushcraft 6 meter beam on top of a 72 ft. remote
controlled, motorized U.S. Tower and a Zero-Five 43 ft. vertical for 80M &
160M.
