Hi All,
Here is a quick note from "Jug", WA6MBZ, Santa Barbara, CA, USA.
Last year I started to get into operating on Pactor and SSTV. With Pactor I
could not find much help and so progress was slow, but with SSTV, I have had
some good pointers from the the nets on 14.230 and 14233 Mhz. Locally, the
145.180 MHz. repeater provided me a good place to practice receiving pictures
and making all the necessary adjustments one must make on SSTV so as to get it
right !!!
I am also a member of ARRL, CMRA, 220 SMA, NTS, Mission Trail Net (MTN), RATTS,
SCN (CW), SCN-SB, WorldRadio News, and who knows what else !!! Moreover, I am
still a registered Volunteer Examiner with the ARRL VEC.
