================================================================
Just acquired the TenTec OMNI VI+ and am now learning a new rig. The Kenwood
TS440 has been a solid performer for 21 years now and will still be here as a
backup and general coverage RX. The amp in the picture is a Collins 30L-1 and
the tuner is a Dentron MT2000A.
You can see the whole station (including the QRP gear and my vintage station)
at my website. Just follow the link above or just point your browser to:

I grew up in South Bend, Indiana about 1 mile from The University of Notre
Dame. I was first licensed in December, 1969 as WN9DLC and did most of my
Novice work with a Globe Scout 680A and a National NC173 receiver. I have
typically been very active over the years except for an 8 year QRT from about
1996 till December of 2003. I’m active on HF and 2 meters again and having a
blast.
At the present time I operate mostly CW with the 'Vintage Station', the 'Modern
Station', and the 'QRP Station'. I also operate some PSK31 and some SSB. In
August '05 I installed a new tower with a 5 band 2 element Quad so I can now
operate 80-40-30-20-17-15-12-10 meters.
---- Other Hobbies ----
Astronomy : I have a Celestron Nexstar 8i computer controlled telescope. My
telescope setup is fairly portable and I enjoy taking it to truly dark sites.
