We are now "Stroke Five" from our new QTH in Waco, TX! Same planet,
different world...
Equipment is mostly Japan Radio Co. (JRC), including: JST-245 transceiver, and
NRD-505, NRD-515 and NRD-535 receivers. A Yaesu FT-7800 is used for VHF mobile
operations during my daily commute. An Elecraft KX1 was built in 2007, and a
new K3 arrived in January 2008.
I've been an SWL since 1976, a licensed amateur since 1987 (original call
N2HIE), and I've operated SSB, CW and digital modes on HF, VHF/UHF and
satellite (AO-13 and RS).
