I'm a mid 50's computer "jock" who waited until late in life to realize a 30-some year old dream of becoming a ham. I don't know why I waited so long! I've really enjoyed my time on the air since getting my general (in 2003), and am working on the Extra, which I should have before the end of the year. N4JAH Update - August 2005 - 'Hobby Turns Into Job!' I just learned that I will be moving away from the computer end of things in October of this year (2005). I'll be taking over the company's extensive (state wide) Motorola radio system. My first major project will be to implement Radio Over IP!
