Laszlo "Larry" Hirsch, WA6SWG, was killed April 25, 2008, approximately 8:40 pm, while crossing the street on his 3 wheeled scooter while going to the grocery store. A 29 Palms city bus ran the stop, the driver said he never saw anyone in the crosswalk. Laszlo was pronounced dead at the Naval Hospital a short time later. Laszlo was born November 1, 1936, He was 71 years old. Laszlo is survived by his wife Valerie and several children.
