Excellent condition. This is one of the first of the smaller HT's, and belonged to my Dad (now SK). Included are the rubber duck antenna, 12V plug-in power cord and the AC power adapter. Has BP-23 battery pack with newer akalines. The manual is available on-line. Has 1 watt and 1/10th watt output settings. Case has minor scratches but looks fine. Works great to communicate between cars on group road trips; also works fine with repeaters. I now have two other HTs so don't use this anymore.

I have too many radios right now and want to clear out the spares as part of some general shack cleaning and upgrades. This is a very unique radio from Kenwood. I t features the ability to install “band modules” to make the radio a tri-bander in any combinations you desire. Modules cover 10 meters, 6 meters, 2 meters, 1.25 meters (yes, it does cover 220, not just 222 MHz), 70 cm, and 1.2 GHz.
This radio does not have a third band installed. It can cross-band repeat and it can be remote controlled. This radio is also rare in that it is capable of running in full duplex mode where you are receiving and transmitting at the same time! It has a detachable face that further detaches in to the display piece and the control piece. No other radio can be separated like this. I also have the TSU-7 unit for tone decode and paging, and the complete DFK-7 separation kit. I will sell the tone board and DFK-7 kit separately.
I am the original owner of this radio and the radio is in GREAT shape and shows almost no wear. It works fine and it comes in the original box, with pretty much all the original stuff: the MC-53DM microphone (rather than the older MC-45), manual (including the schematics), mounting hardware including the bracket and screws, and a new power cable.
I would like $525.00 shipped to the lower 48, for the whole thing with accessories, or $425 shipped, for the radio alone.
The DFK-7 kit is complete except for the power cord, an also has a number of extra parts including a set of cables that allows for easy removal of the control head from its remote mount to discourage theft of the controls. I would like $50 shipped.
The TSU-7 is in good condition and I would like $50 shipped for that item as well.

Radio shows some wear on the keys, but works fine. Not a functional issue, but cosmetic: the previous owner had engraved his drivers license on the top of the RF deck. It comes in the original box, with pretty much all the original stuff: the MC-45DM microphone, manual (including the schematics), mounting hardware including the bracket and machine screws, and power cable.
For those of you not familiar with the TM-733: The TM-733 is somewhat unusual as far as dual banders are concerned as it will allow dual “in-band” monitoring where both sides of the radio can be set to receive and transmit on VHF or UHF. Effectively, each “side” of the radio is a separate transceiver that may be set to either UHF or VHF operation. It also features both cross band repeating and RF remote control. It can be remote controlled over the air on either band (but you should use UHF.) This feature works best from another Kenwood radio, but will work from ANY radio that sends DTMF tones.
