I am a supporter of the DX Code of Conduct:

I will listen, and listen, and then listen again before calling.

I will only call if I can copy the DX station properly.

I will not trust the DX cluster and will be sure of the DX station's call sign before calling.

I will not interfere with the DX station nor anyone calling and will never tune up on the DX frequency or in the QSX slot.

I will wait for the DX station to end a contact before I call.

I will always send my full call sign. I will call and then listen for a reasonable interval.

I will not call continuously. I will not transmit when the DX operator calls another call sign, not mine.

I will not transmit when the DX operator queries a call sign not like mine.

I will not transmit when the DX station requests geographic areas other than mine.

When the DX operator calls me, I will not repeat my call sign unless I think he has copied it incorrectly.

I will be thankful if and when I do make a contact.

I will respect my fellow hams and conduct myself so as to earn their respect.

I'm a Radio Presenter/Voice Over & Narrator based in Durham City, North East England

I have a B.A in Hyp, Hypnotherapy & Stage Hypnosis with a love for Movies as well as Amateur Radio.

I do a lot of SWL to the Broadcast Stations too, particular late at night...this is where I got the Ham Radio Bug for real as the Engineer of the Radio Station I was working for in Ireland was a Ham, the Station was Long Wave Radio Atlantic 252 which was a Pop Music Station that broadcast to the whole of the UK, Ireland and parts of Western Europe during the day using 500,000 Watts on 252 KHZ LW.

Home Base is the Icom 7300 with SP8 Speaker & Electrovoice RE320 through a DBX Voice Processor for both Voice Over and Radio use with the Icom 706 MK2 for All Mode VHF and back up HF

Antennas are the 40 Metre OCF Dipole and and a HF Vertical for HF as well as a Tri Bander for 6, 2 & 70 with a Co Linear for 4 metres, (70mhz)

I have the DV Mega and use D Star on the Reflectors.

I currently do a lot of Freelance Radio work for Radio Stations and I can be heard on 103.4 Sun FM, Sunderlands Number 1 Radio Station every Saturday Afternoon supporting SAFC through the Premiership under my Radio Name, Nick Jordan plus you can now also hear me across West Yorkshire every now and then on 102.5, 97.5 & DAB Pulse 1 or 1530, 1278 & DAB Pulse 2
