My name is Tom. I am 65 and retired at 57 from the motor industry. I am married to Kathleen who has just retired after 44 years of teaching. I have two lovely daughters, both live near by and have obtained degrees in business and I am very proud of them. I have always had German Shepherd dogs, I am a great lover of them.
Hobbies include, DIY, gardening and of course, amateur radio. I was first licensed in 2010 with the call sign MW6TAX, then in 2012, obtained my intermediate license with the call sign 2W0DUN.
HF equipment includes the Yaesu 950 ( operated with a foot pedal ) which is connected to a 41m long Clansman wire antenna, 20ft above the ground. I use a MFJ 969 tuner which will tune all bands. I also have the yaesu mk5 1000
I use a Heil Pro Elite headset.

Antenna mast is a Clarks Military Pneumatic mast which will go up to 48ft high. Connected to the mast, I also have 2/70m antenna which will work my Icom 880 which is normally used for D-Star / Echo Link.
My Motorola 350 is used for some local work.
My Kenwood TS50 I intend to install in my car so I can use for mobile DXing.
I will shortly be installing a Yaesu 400 rotator with a mini beam.
