ANALOG USERS: REMEMBER TO USE BOTH ENCODE AND DECODE DCS 025 TO AVOID HEARING DIGITAL SIGNALS

ANALOG & DIGITAL VOIP SYSTEMS

 THE KC9WKE REPEATER IS CURRENTLY DOWN AND WILL BE RELOCATING TO YOUNGSTOWN OHIO AREA FROM SWANSEA IL WHEN THE REPEATER IS PUT IN SERVICE AGAIN, IT WILL BE LINKED TO ALLSTAR NODES 27915 AND WILL PROVIDE  DTMF ACCESS TO: ALLSTAR, ECHOLINK,  IRLP, YAESU WIRES AND DSTAR VOIP SYSTEMS. THIS PAGE WILL BE UPDATED WITH NEW FREQ. WHEN PLACED BACK ON AIR. UNTIL THEN, THE NODES ARE ON 144.910 SIMPLEX IN SWANSEA, IL. THE MOVE WILL TAKE PLACE IN LATE JULY 2017.

TO CONNECT TO THE FOLLOWING SYSTEMS:


ALLSTAR NODE 27915:
*3 plus ALLSTAR node number connects
*1 plus ALLSTAR node number disconnects or *71 to disconnects all links

ECHOLINK NODE 429456:
*33 plus 6 digit ECHOLINK node number connects
*13 plus 6 digit ECHOLINK number disconnects or *71 to disconnects all links

Allstar REQUIRES Echolink nodes must contain 6 digits. If the Echolink node you want has less than 6 digits, you must pad zeros prior to actual node number.

 
INCOMMING ECHOLINK CONNECTIONS:
All incomming calls from Echolink are directed to node 28785, if you have instructed someone to connect to the MIDWEST VOIP USERS echolink node 429456 you must connect (link) to allstar node 28791 (use *328785 to connect (link). You then can talk and listen to incomming Echolink calls. Use *71 to disconnect. 
 
Outbound Echolink connections can be made directly from repeater using above process.

IRLP NODE 8996:
*38 plus IRLP Node Number connects
*18 plus IRLP Node Number disconnects or *71 to disconnects all links
 
INCOMMING IRLP CONNECTIONS:
All incomming calls from IRLP are directed to node 28915, if you have instructed someone to connect to the MIDWEST VOIP USERS IRLP node 8996 you must connect (link) to allstar node 28915 (use *328915 to connect (link). You then can talk and listen to incomming IRLP calls. Use *71 to disconnect.
 
Outbound IRLP connections can be made directly from repeater using above process.

DIGITAL D STAR

 
The DR-1X repeater has been upgraded with an external UDRC controller. This board is mounted atop a Raspberry Pi II that gives the repeater full access to Dstar. It runs Jonathan's G4KLX software to the IRCDDB network. To use Dstar simply have your Dstar radio set to "DV" mode on the repeater channel. Repeater 1 should be set as kc9wke b and repeater 2 should be set as kc9wke g.  Use the following dtmf commands:

Disconnect = #

Status = 0

Disconnect CCS call routing = A

Reconnect to default connection = **

How to use

The examples below are fairly self explanatory. However on the DCS reflectors, each of the reflectors has up to 26 nodes or groups A -Z.
DTMF can only handle letters A -D, hence once you get to DCS001E the DTMF becomes D105, F becomes D106 etc.
