Hello!

Thanks for visiting!

For special event page - LI7DHA
Other callsigns used: W1/LA7DHA, DL/LA7DHA, EA6/LA7DHA, EA7/LA7DHA, SM/LA7DHA, OZ/LA7DHA

I was born in 1967 and got my LA-license in 1990 and myQTH was Leknes, Lofoten Islands (IOTA EU-076).

I was inspired to take the licence by SK LA5RX, Johan - and my first contact was of cource with Johan.
Johan only did CW and some Pactor.

He trained me well, I still do a lot of CW contacts and some Digimodes.

After moving to new QTH's a few times I settled down at Hagan, NR. Oslo.

I have for many years been inactive on the bands and my QSL cards have been unavailable for a long time.
It's good to be back - to really enjoy this great hobby of mine.

Hagan - JO59
So, this is my QTH at Hagan -

The antennas are MFJ-2990 and a Mosley Mini Beam - Mini33A-WARC for HF. Also a W3DZZ +5 is coming up on a 15m pole before winter.
At home I'm QRV 160 - 6m and 2m/70cm APRS, D-Star, C4FM - Fusion, DMR and Satellite Mode V/U
Old Sat-Antennas was; 6el LFA for 2-meter and X-quads for 2m/70cm.
The cable is a Westflex W-103. I have about 1.4dB loss on 70cm all included.

InnovAntennas - 4 x 8EL OWL and 70cm XQUAD was running just fine for EME.
Got it up and running for Nov 14 ARRL EME Contest.

Power is 100W out of IC-9100 and mastmounted SP-2000/SP-7000.
Antennas now are X-Quad's for 2M/70cm and Curshcraft A13B2.
Noise level is too high to run EME from this QTH. So, antenna for scatter is better.

Lofoten - JP68
For the moment I'm testing out an old AV-18AVT vertical at JP68 locator - Lofoten Islands..

A few pictures from Lofoten -

Lofoten Islands - Taken to the north-east

I'm QRV from Lofoten via Remote Rig RRC-1258 MkII - Icom IC-7100, LDG IT-100 tuner and MFJ-2990 antenna.
Exciting to see how MFJ is gonna hold on in pretty rough weather up there.
I'm gonna use the remote system a lot, since it's much better conds in Lofoten.

LA7DHA-10 APRS is running on 2-meter and is QRV.

I'm also sysop for D-Star repeater LD8LK-B at 434.800 with -duplex 0.0.

Narvik JP88
I moved to Narvik in 1991 and did quite a few QSO's
from the club station LA1N in Narvik
I went at HIN in Narvik. We cleaned the dust of the School station LA7MB - which later became LA9HIN.
The antenna on the right below is from LA9HIN school club station.

At sea
In 2004 we achieved a Sailboat.
I installed the IC-706MKIIG with Backstay antenna(abt. 19M) and AH-4 tuner for HF.
For VHF/UHF/SHF I'm using the Diamond X-5000 Vertical.

Usually QRV via Winlink for fun -http://www.winlink.org/dotnet/maps/PositionReportsDetail.aspx?callsign=LA7DHA

TS-2000 was the working conditions for Sat-Mode, IC-756PROIII for Main HF QSO's.
The FT-857D and FT-817 is for Portable use.
For VHF/UHF I'm now running an Icom IC-9100 with mast PreAmps.

For Tracking I'm using the freeware HRD v5.11
For Tracking and CAT-Control I'm using SatPC32. It works very well with IC-9100.
I'm about 230m above sea level and happy to notice that I can work the Satellites FO-29, SO-50 and AO-27 very easy.
In some Azm degrees I work them down to 0° Elv.

For portable operation I use The Arrow Antenna.
It works very well and it is easy to bring with me. I have found the Icom ID-51 easy to use for SO-50 SAT work.
Pictures below is from JP68SD locator, about 440Meters above see level in "The Lofoten Islands".

 A view to the south

While visiting Leknes in April 2016, I took a new picture :-)

I'm also active in the SOTA progam.
I just activated EA6/MA-044 at Mallorca - and this is my kit:
10m Fiberglass Pole, Ground Mount, 7.2m Wire, MFJ Tuner and FT-817nd/or FT-857D with LiFePO4 battery.
(I'm working on my Trap Dipole project now.. )
Next summer the plan is to activate several SOTA spots at Vestvaagoy in Lofoten Islands.

Visited Mijas - Spain the summer of 2016
Mijas, Spain

Sloper antenna - Inverted L
