First licensed in 1994 as a no-code Tech, callsign N2YRJ - I was real active on 2m packet radio for the first couple of years. There, I fell in with a group of guys that shamed me into learning morse code, upgrading my license, and getting on HF. Since then I've spent most of my time on HF digital modes; psk31, rtty, olivia, hellschreiber, sstv, jt65, packet - if it makes beeps and squawks, I've probably tried it...  That said, I've recently returned to my roots running a BPQ packet node - attempting to revitalize the packet community near Rochester, NY.  I'm also often on Network105 HF packet.

One of my other fascinations is D-Star - I started out with a DV Dongle to get my feet wet, and went downhill from there as they say!  It amazes me how much activity can be found on D-Star - a great bunch of people.

Now P25 has struck my fancy! Some local fellows are putting up a P25 repeater! I must have a P25 radio - the story of my life - also added a DV4mini to be able to get to the one and only P25 reflector on xReflector.net...  Stay tuned...
