Got my C licence in 1977. In 1979 I passed my exam for the A (F) licence with call PA3ANF.
I am a casual operator. Like to explore the bands and chasing DX, DXCC hunting.
Until 2003 I run a Yaesu FT-101ZD, later a Kenwood TS-450 with a cushcraft vertical R5. For 80 and 40 I used a windom FD4 by Fritzel.
In 2004 I moved to a new house in a new part of the town Utrecht called Leidsche Rijn. I had to setup a new shack and antennas. I planned to put up a tower, but the goverment and neighbourhood did not like that.
In 2005 I put up a Fritzel FB23 2 elements beam and a Daimond X30 for 144 and 433 Mhz. on the wall of the house. About 12 meters high.
Also a W3DZZ as inverted "V".
My tranceiver is now a Yaesu FT-2000D. For mobile/portable use I have the Icom IC-7000.
I will operate digital modes with a Microham USB III interface.
My latest investment: An Ameriton AL-811. I am using it on special occasions.
My favorite bands are 20,15 and 10 meters.
QRV on D-star with an ICOM ID-51E. D-star repeater Netherlands: PI1UTR.
Use LoTW for DXCC credits. Register to it. Is quit simple.
I prefer LoTW. When you want a paper QSL. let me know by E-mail.
eQSL, I will answer incoming QSL.
