Hello everybody.

In the 70,s my interest in radio starts at school while my teacher operates a cb radio. So I became a handy cb and starts to communicate. During high school I bought a real tranceiver for cb with all possible frequencys. And ssb!!!! In that time cb wasn,t allowed here in the Netherlands so I was a pirate hi hi. Resuls: 110 countrys confirmed with qsl all around the world. But I want more radio. So I decide to become a licenced ham. The 8 of january 1983 I passed the exam and I get my call PD0NUD. A novice licence. This will give me acces to vhf in the range 145.225 to 145.575. No repeaters butt vhf. My first tranceiver was a kenwood TR-2300 and a small amp VB-2300. Only 10 Watt. In es I worked almost whole europe and my best dx was TF. After a few years the government gives the novices more frequencys so we are allowed to operate on vhf repeaters. More possybilitys. Great thing. As the years go by we became more frequencys. At this moment we are allowed to use the complete 144 Mhz and 430 Mhz band and some parts on HF. Max power 25 watts.

So this was a short story about myself. At this moment my rigs in use are a icom 2820 vhf-uhf inclusive d-star unit. For vhf I use a kenwood tm-255 all mode and my hf rig is an old one it's a icom ic-740. For tuning on HF I use a zetagi TM535 tuner. Low budget HAM radio hi. For D-star I also have an IC-92d portable. And brand new DMR radio. I use a Tytera MD-380 for DMR radio. I use different antennas. Vertical for vhf-uhf a diamond x-50 and special for vhf a 6 element beam. My hf antenna,s are now at this moment a Fritzel FB13 triband dipole horizontal and a home-made end fed antenna.

My interest at this moment is building my own antenna systems for hf special short antennas like the isotron. Also building dipole antenna,s and vhf and uhf antenna systems

Well, that's a little about me. Hope to make a lot of qso's and stay on the band for many years.

Best 73's Ron

Update 6-10-2016.

Yesterday I build up My antenna system.

On the tower I put a diamond x300 vhf/uhf vertical on top. Top is app. 12 meter. The second antenna in the tower is  a Fritzel 3 band beam the fb33 app. 9 meter height. The rotator is an old one the yaesu G-400 RC.

On The second mast I put on top a 10 element vhf home-made.

The coax I used is aircell 7.
