Your browser must allow HTTP cookies in order to use QRZ.COM. Cookies provide the means by which you stay logged in who as you move about the website. They are an accepted and safe mechanism that is in widspread use on nearly every website.

If you are having trouble logging in, or if after you login the system still says "Not Logged In" at the top of the page then your cookies are probably being blocked. Some anti-virus, anti-spyware programs block cookies when it isn't necessary. Most, however, allow them.

Note: the recommended security setting for Internet Explorer is Medium-High. This allows first-party cookies and is quite safe.

As a matter of security, you must have an anti-virus program installed on your computer. Without one, your chances of getting infected by an internet virus is nearly 100%.

Don't skimp on anti-virus software, and don't trust "free" solutions. A good anti-virus program needs a team of engineers that provide regular daily updates. This costs money, but is worth it. From our own experience of more than 15 years, we recommend Norton Antivirus. Note: we receive nothing for making this recommendation, it's just the best choice, in our opinion.
