Hi & thanks for taking a look at my page.

I am quite new to radio, having only passed my foundation in September 2014 & the intermediate in Feb 2015.

I'm not over active,  just using it as & when I hear something interesting.  Spend a lot of time listening :-)

On GB3PE most days at some time /mobile  and most early evenings in the shack on PE or D star / Fusion.

Shack radios are

Yeasu Ft-1000MP   & FT-991 Antenna end fed 58' wire / resonant wire / end fed 6BTV vertical

Icom IC-5100 Dstar & Repeaters.  Antenna X300

Retevis RT3 for DMR  10 element UHF beam

Yaesu FTM-100

for Fusion i use a DV4mini in the shack & D star on a Bluestack mega

I spend a lot of time mobile using a  FTM-400DXE & Bluestack tethered to a spare android phone.

I do some HF but not as much as I did in my early days, D star and Fusion  seem to be better for ragchew.

Often go for a little /P session on sunday mornings witha the 991 & vertical mag on the car (static), a bit more fun & it keeps me out of the station managers way for a bit :)

My work life is pretty easy, running our small manufacturing business www.aspectblinds.co.uk  & the station manager looks after our shop  www.marchandelyblinds.co.uk

Evenings and weekends are spent working on my RC model trucks (in the shack), or out at shows with them.   Addictive, expensive but a lot of fun.

 That's about it.   73's
