Hi and welcome to my QRZ page,

I am a Radio Amateur from the united Kingdom, I have been licensed and interested in radio communications since 2002. But only on 2m and 70cm until late 2012 when I was convinced to try out HF by my good friend Paul so I now own 2 High Frequency sets a Yaesu FT DX1200,

I am a keen SWL i can often be found scanning through the commercial band (VHF / UHF) and also listening to Marine Radio (VHF).
I am a member of the Aberkenfig Radio Club (ARC) we have a good group of people here and anyone is welcomed to join our club. Click here
I am also a member of the recently formed Western Valleys RAYNET
And also part of the team at DMR South Wales who brought the first DMR MARC repeater to the local area GB7CW Which has an outstanding coverage that has stunned us all. We have been contacted from Tenby with a handheld on a mag mount, and from Cheddar not sure of his setup at the moment. but im sure you would agree both of which are outstanding on UHF alone.
