***FOR YOUR INFORMATION*** AS A FREELANCING ASSIGNMENT  PHOTOJOURNALIST, I DO TRAVEL EXTENSIVELY ALL AROUND THE WORLD. SOMETIMES A TRIP WILL LAST FOR ONLY A WEEK, WHILE OTHER TRIPS REQUIRE MONTHS ABROAD. THEREFORE, IF YOU SEND YOUR QSL(s) DIRECTLY, I MUST ASK YOU TO BE SOMEWHAT PATIENT. STILL YOU CAN BE SURE ABOUT ONE THING: I ALWAYS RETURN ALL DIRECTLY SENT QSL CARDS AS SOON AS I DROP MY CAMERA BAGS ON THE FLOOR.

INFO MID-JANUARY 2010: ALL BUREAU CARDS FROM MY EARLIER DX-PEDITIONS HAVE BEEN PRINTED AND SENT OUT - ALL TOGETHER SOMETHING LIKE 30 000 CARDS.

Hi!

All QSL’s to XU7ADI, HS0ZFI, 9M6/SM5GMZ, 9M8/SM5GMZ and 6V7F should be sent to my homecall - SM5GMZ. The same applies with Lake Malaren DX Group's QSLs (SK5A). Either direct or via the bureau. So far I have worked more than 50 000 QSO’s with my different Asian and African callsigns. As it would be impossible for me to upbring the costs for sending QSLs to everyone I have worked, I will only QSL those who QSL me. On the other handI do QSL 100 percent. If you send the card(s) to me directly, make sure that you include a SASE and sufficient postage. As the cost for sending an airmail letter from Sweden is 12 SEK, this means 1 IRC or 2 USD. Requests with insufficient postage (or with the old type of IRC, expiring 31 Dec 2009) will be returned via the bureau. Do also accept the fact that QSL-ing is something I have to deal with when I’m in Sweden, on my free time...

SOME PERSONAL FACTS I have been a ham since the beginning of the 70’s and still enjoy the fact that I have the best hobby of them all. After studies at the University of Stockholm and Berghs School of Communications, I have been working as a journalist for almost 20 years, mostly for magazines and newspapers but also for the commercial radio. In 1996 I wanted to change path and today I work as a full-time photojournalist for US-based World Picture News and as a main contributor to Scanpix Sweden Ltd (AP, AFP and Reuters). A wide range of Swedish and international newspapers and magazines are other image buyers. See you on the bands!
