Thanks for stopping by.  I received my amateur radio license in 1976 and have been in and out of the hobby over the years.  I've tried to have a station at my different QTH's over the years.  This is one of several hobbies I enjoy and like all hobbies I keep it as a hobby, it's not my life.  My first passion has always been airplanes.  I received my private pilots license in 1979 and advance my license and ratings over the years.  I enjoyed owning several airplanes and flight instructing while building flight time.  In 1989 I started doing corporate flying and then I flew for an airline from 1995 until December 2005 when I had to surrender my FAA medical due to a medical issue and retired from flying.  Now my wife an I own a HVAC business in Texas so I travel between Kentucky where we live and Texas.  I have put together a modest radio station in Kentucky.  The station consist of a Yaesu FTDX5000MP, QRO HF-2500DX amplifier, Mosley PRO-67B3 beam at 20 meters, DX Engineering 1/4 wave vertical with buried radials, full wave 80 meter Delta loop at 20 meters and other related equipment for the hobby.  I enjoy DXing while pursuing different awards. Thanks again for stopping by and hope to catch you on the air.
