Ham Member Lookups: 109

It has been an interesting past few years.  I had been interested in ham radio for years but it was not until a friend pushed me to get my license that I actually started working toward it.  I got my Tech license back in 2013.  Not much I wanted to do with the Tech license, so, I started studying again and got my General in 2015.  I really enjoyed the National Parks on the Air contest all during 2016 and actually went out and activated a park.  But I found that I really wanted to do DX and WAS during that time and most of the good DX stations seemed to crop up more in the Extra bands.  So, more studying for me and I upgraded to Extra Spring of 2017.   I think my next project will be convincing the XYL to let me make some other antennas and place them where I can work some other stations but I think her restrictions may be as bad as some HOA's.  I still have a lot to learn and a lot of playing to do to get where I want to be.
