First licensed in 1979 as KA4LAJ. Upgraded to General in 1987 and received call N4QWO. After almost 20 years of inactivity I passed the Extra exam in March 07 and received call AI4VE.

I operate CW mostly but SSB and Digital occasionally. Got interested in QRP and built a K1 in the summer of  2009, assembled a K3/10 in January 2010 (since upgraded to 100W), and built a K2/10 in Fall 2010. Aquired a KX3 in 2011 and now use it when portable, mostly with various end-fed antennas.

Relocated to Charleston, SC in Mar 2012 and am operating with an assortment of attic dipoles due to neighborhood restrictions.

QSL: Direct or via Bureau; FISTS bureau for FISTS QSOs. LoTW for all QSOs (It's worth the effort to set-up). I send QSL cards for selected QSOs and on request.
