Operator, Please Connect Me With QRP

On 06 AUG 2011 I took and copleted the Amatuer Radio Grand Slam passing all three exams in one sitting and was licensed 11 AUG 2011 as an Extra. Since I was recently licensed I am still building my equipment list and skills.

I feel it is important to be part of and support local Amateur Radio and have become a member of the Camden County Amateur Radio Society (CCARS.org) and have been learning the job of being a Net-OP by jumping in with both feet and taking the Sunday night Society Net. Also a member of ARRL and a recently new member of the OMISS and working on memberships as time and money allow.

New QRP Operator with a Yaesu FT-817ND on 5 watts. Working on decreasing antenna losses and increasing output. I enjoy for now being a low-powered pipsqueak trying to be heard. I have recieved signal reports as low as 21 and as high as 59 on different bands and distances.
