I started this beautiful hobby in 1975 (age of 12 years) as DM-EA-8700/N. One year later I ´ve learned cw and got the SWL number DM-8700/N.

On June, 02. 1977 I passed my test and got the call DM5JBN.

This call was changed to Y62QN in 1980. Other calls were Y83XN and Y22BT.

As the wall between the two german countries was fallen I got DL5JBN, later my first call DM5JBN back again.

I´m working mostly on cw, RTTY and from time to time a little bit on SSB (contests).

Since a few years I´m a proud member of the Bavarian Contest Club.

Every year I work during the IOTA-contest from different islands (Ruegen, Ummanz, Usedom, Fehmarn, Sylt, Helgoland, Roemoe, Krk, Pag, Rab, Cres, Wolin....).

During the HAM-Radio at Friedrichshafen 2016 I passed my Technician and General, got the US-call KM4VDQ.

See you in the next contest....

QSL 100%.
