my name is Anton (31). HAM since 23.03.2016 so Iam still at the very beginning. Home-QTH is Oberschleißheim (JN58SF) near Munich in Bavaria / Germany. Due to my living situation it is not possible for me to install permanent antennas there, but I can work from my home some VHF/UHF Repeater, for example DB0ZU Zugspitze 2.962m and DB0EL located at  Olympiaturm Munich  with Echolink-Connection :). Most of the time Iam monitoring DB0EL and you can reach me there directly or via Echo-Link. Other option is via DB0TVM / DMR.

Fortunately for me, my family has access to some ground in the woods near Dasing (JN58MJ) Bavaria,  located at the Highway A8 close to Augsburg. Most of the time i will operate HF from there due to the possibilities of setting up wire antennas at this location. It is also a good option for me to use electricity from my car or from a installed solar panel on a small cabin there. I gave the solar panel recently some future proof tuning including a  12V/185AH battery to be prepared for more..

BAOFENG UV-5R for 2m/70cm.

YAESU FT-817 ND and a Tigertronics SignaLink USB Interface for Digimodes. Due to the QRP receiver my plan was to work mostly in PSK31 and so on, but in the meantime I have discovered that I like SSB-Voice QSOs very much.  My most used antenna is a MP1 Superantenna, it is always present in my car and easily to set up at every point. 16.04.2016 I have added a 15m monoband Dipol which works great for me.

TYTERA MD-390 (will start testing on 17.04.2016).

Other hobbies:

In general Iam really outdoor addicted, camping, hiking, fishing and so on. I like the near mountains  and also my motorbike  :).

Further planning:

  • PA, or receiver with more Output. The FT817 is a fine radio, but sometimes more power would be necessary.
  • Selfmade Dipol for 80meters

Schedule / long run:

  • Upgrade to German Class A, CEPT Radio Amateur Licence. I would like to get QRV on 20m&40m, which is currently due to my Novice License not possible.
  • Learn CW :).

Update 10.04.2016

First QSO in SSB on 15m band - 10.04.2016. Had an QSO with an friendly OM in Russia. I used a Superantenna MP1 with 5 Watts.  Exciting moment. On the next weekend I will test a selfmade monoband Dipol on 15m.

Two pictures from my ground in the woods. This is the place where HF happens :). In front of the cabin you can see a piece of a feeder line which belongs to a ZS6BKW.

View of the landscape there:
